Stupidly trying to claim since I say that we share DNA with fruit, that means evolution claims a banana gave birth to a human, they cannot fucking understand TIME and adaptation make life look different.

Surely the argument is pretty simple, they say the theory of evolution says that banana gave birth to a human, the answer is that no evolution does not make that claim.

You don't even have to begin to argue about time and adaption, humans aren't evolved from bananas, no animal is evolved from a banana, the plant/animal split in evolution obviously happened a long time ago. 

Bananas giving birth to humans has more in common with religious claims that sticks can turn into snakes, dust or a bone can turn into a human.  The theory of evolution says the exact opposite, sticks don't turn into snakes, bananas don't give birth to humans.

I get what you are saying, but these dumbasses use this analogy to prove a god exists. It is too complex to happen by chance. 

No, we should not give the idiots fuel. I like to point out all the negative and superfluous outcomes of evolution. I also like to point out more efficient life than humans, such as bacteria and cockroaches, not to mention the 5 mass extinctions that have happened in this planet's evolutionary history. It's a crappy home and dangerous home to live on and claim an  efficient perfect all powerful being is watching over.

Understanding evolution in lapersons terms is no different than understanding the difference between the look of a sperm and egg when they meet, vs the 75 year old decades later. All  life stems from DNA, but what makes life look different is two things. The for elements of DNA, adenine, guanine, thymine and cytosine, being shuffled like a deck of cards. Shuffle that deck, turn over the top card, it looks different. Secondly time, shuffle that deck  over billions of years, you end up with countless variations.


Just like 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9 and 0 constitute every number humans use and allows us to go into the billions and trillions. 

No different than the countless combos of a lottery you can get.
