Those jokes were hilarious, so I take it no one else has had this problem then, because I'm still getting it? It takes me a while to be able to stop the italics tab from being selected even when I click off it or delete all the text written in italics.

Damn, had a funny/weird situation today. He wasn't Italic, but still, he was attractive and stood out as such in a VERY large crowd of people, so I started taking to him about the venue. Turned out he was a bit of a tech head like me and we probably talked for 10 minutes or so. Did I mention he was attractive?
Anyhow, his phone went off and he had to leave the event and meet up with someone. Not seeing anyone else interesting to talk to, I decided to do a little KP, and found a big trash bag, full to the gunwales, so hefted it and headed to the dumpster. Ran into Mr. Attractive outside, who turned out to be parked at that end of the building and found him with a (female) friend of my family, and it turns out they are dating. R'uh r'oh !! Not sure I want to think about this too much, but I will crystal ball into the future a ways, and wish my new friend and his potential spouse an interesting future. 
The granting of a pardon is an imputation of guilt, and the acceptance a confession of it.
Are you using the visual or the html text editor?

I have problems with the way the italics, bold, underlines, images, emoticons, quote boxes, etc, etc, etc, all show up even before previewing or sending the most as I am constructing it.
I don't have the problem in the quick reply box, but I do when I do the full reply... and hence I also do when I click the reply button to quote someone's post. And I use that feature a lot. When I was last on the forums, it only displayed all that stuff after previewing or posting, and I found that much easier to use. When trying to edit all these - italics, bold, underlines, images, emoticons and quote boxes, etc, etc - I find it much more difficult with them all displaying before I make the post. I generally deal with this situation now by constructing my post in Wordpad before posting. Is that the sort of problem you are talking about Pablo? Only specifically regarding Italics? Evie, go to your UCP->Edit Options->Other options and check the box that says 'put the editor in source mode by default'. This will change it to the html editor instead of the crappy preview one
