RE: Theoretical Leader
Oh, and by the way - I don't have a "cause".
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist.  This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair.  Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second.  That means there's a situation vacant.'

My atheism is not a cause. I don't strive to win adherents to it.

Delicate makes an outstanding case for atheism.

I don't use enough empty rhetoric. I don't know if I'd be accepted as a spokesmen.

Mine would be Dawkins and Thunderf00t

Well, thankfully I'm in no need of any leaders. The world already has had too many of them. And Thunderf00t? That's a prospect to puke over.

Maybe a little bit more individuality is in order?

Don't underestimate yourself, honey,
I assure you, empty rhetoric is all you've got. You'll do fine.

It's like the way they selected the Doge in the Venetian Republic.  You pick an old guy so he isn't around too long.

Dandolo would disagree. But later on they didn't have any real power. They were basically posterheads.

Reality can be annoying to those committed to blind faith. There I see your point.

I'm not making any claims, dear.

Besides, what's the matter with you? Don't you know when you're being complimented? I'm telling you that you make a Hell of a case! It just happens that it reinforces the opposite of what you intend. Still, a Hell of a case nonetheless.
