Started on Assassin's Creed II. The controls are a bit difficult, but I'm enjoying the story so far.

thinking about pre-ordering Assassin’s creed, Mirage. However Ubisoft says this title will deemphasize the open world aspect of the 3 previous title which i enjoyed, and emphasize parkour, sneaking about, and more of that sort of make belief assassin’s craft, and the main game play will also take only 1/2-1/3 as many hours of play time to go through, yet it will cost the same as previous titles at release. so i am now disinclined.

I won't be pre-ordering for the same reasons. The game does include mounts, which honestly fits more into an open world concept than the early games of the franchise, but I have to see actual gameplay before deciding to purchase. It won't be released till October, so I have a while to wait.
