What are you all playing right now?

I think I will buy Baldur's Gate II Enhanced edition (and maybe I) on Steam. I played some BG offshoots on the PS2 years ago, and loved them.

Resident Evil Village. Finally got around to beating Resident Evil VII. That game was SO GOOD, and what I've played of Village so far is excellent. Capcom's really turned things around from RE5/RE6.

Apparently Total War Rome Remastered sucks, so there's $20 or so that will stay in my pocket. Warhammer III is getting good press, but I just picked up Attila.

I've actually got my eye on Dragon Quest XI, but I hate paying full price for games and it's $40. Course I just spent $15 on Attila and $10 on Pillars Of Eternity II DLC that could have gone to that.

Did you find it fun at all? Looks like you moved on to Dragon Quest. I should have warned: the gamed is aged in ways. But a diamond is beneath.

I replayed it recently (a year ago?). And I found it slow and tedious as a game experience. But I basically have the entire game committed to memory. So I was thus able to streamline my journey through the Sword Coast.

I wonder if newcomers to the game might get lost (and bored) in the more barren parts of the map.

edit: If you want to give it a go, I'd say the best thing to do is get to the city (Balder's Gate) asap.

I bounce around a lot, playing a little here and a little there. I had some difficulty mastering the interface but managed to make it to Friendly Arms Inn where I left it.

I own a ton of games and play whatever strikes my fancy at the moment. I'm primarily playing CRPGs these days, focusing on the Divinity Original Sin games, but I'm having trouble getting off the ground in them. I made some progress in Divinity II but neglected to save my game, so I'll have to backtrack, but that's my focus currently.

I'm playing the demo for DQ because I want to decide whether to lay $40 down on a game. I've got my eye on a $170 bottle of scotch, but DQ is really inviting.
