MMOs are timesinks. In total, I've spent something approaching 2 years only playing RuneScape, before I quit (which may just be an extended break).

I spent a few years playing the MMO Forsaken World.

I'm going to be house sitting a bit next month and I was wondering if anyone might recommend a game that will help me pass the time (5 days) but also give me a kind of strategy challenge. Something like X-com. Not in the mood for a sprawling RPG adventure. More like tactics/strategy... but sci fi or fantasy atmosphere/backdrop is fine... desirable actually.
Sorry if that's vague or impossible. Just looking for game recommendations really. I haven't played it yet, but Invisible is well-reviewed and might be up your alley. https://store.steampowered.com/app/24397...sible_Inc/
Downloading the Wrath of the Druids dlc for Valhalla.
Just finished playing AC Valhalla after 119 hours of gameplay...
Finished all the quest, all collectibles. Didn't bother with the dice & drinking mini game My first thought was "Wait, what? Did i just finished the game? So that was the ending just now..." Downloading Life Is Strange - Before The Storm (June 19, 2021 at 9:44 pm)Angrboda Wrote:(June 19, 2021 at 9:37 pm)vulcanlogician Wrote: I'm going to be house sitting a bit next month and I was wondering if anyone might recommend a game that will help me pass the time (5 days) but also give me a kind of strategy challenge. It looks neat. I read a review and watched a bit of gameplay. Good recommendation. (June 20, 2021 at 4:32 pm)freakygin Wrote: Just finished playing AC Valhalla after 119 hours of gameplay... Seriously, though, the game is upsetting me. I'm about to quit it because some of the fighting is too difficult even on easy mode. How the hell did you manage? First, i just turn Guaranteed Assassination ON (To get several gear Set 5/5) Collecting Ymir's Tears in Asgard is a great and easy way to level up Headshot everything when i had the chance (I like Hunter Bow better than Predator Bow) When raiding monastery, i stealth kill most of the enemy first, then call my raid party just to force open doors and collect the treasure My favorite armor : Mentor set Lightweight (Less stamina consumption) Extra attacking speed Must Have Skill for melee battle : Brush With Death Dodge - dodge - dodge then stab rapidly with dual daggers Runes : I prefer Rune of Haste x2 on greatsword Or Rune of agility x2 on dual daggers Shadow Rune on Cape Rune of Life on Armor Shadow Rune On Helmet Warrior Rune On Glove Shadow Rune On Boots Go back to Ravensthorpe often, just to check Yanli's new stock on Runes Anyway, It's possible to get Excalibur early But Mjolnir only available after you finish the game |
