The Ultimate Value and the signs of it in ourselves.

I believe you but please try not to drag others into it.  What we do or do not believe is not going to help you feel better.

That has never worked.

You are right but only because people choose to be dishonest to themselves.

And your exempt?

You know what? I actually believe him.

At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist.  This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair.  Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second.  That means there's a situation vacant.'

Typical of general Jerkdom.

Jerk climbs up his own ass and "discovers" something, anything.....and determines he's figured ALL the fucking answers. Then demands that everyone else get on board, deeming them evil and/or dishonest if they don't.

It'd be less troublesome if this was about veganism, mindfulness, or some generally innocuous shit like that. But noooo....MK's "figured out" precisely what and who GOD is, what He thinks, and what He requires.

How obnoxious you've become.

I know it did lead me away from religion, so I know it did that to me.

At the end, I know if we don't fight for our souls, no one will. If we don't seek to break deceptions and know the truth with power, resolve, and sincerity, then yes while we don't choose our beliefs that are formulated like a chaotic tornado mocking up the beautiful city we were originated on, but never less, we chose to let go of control over our souls and let the demons take over.

I am sorry if it sounds cheesey, if it sounds preachy, if it's annoying, but I feel it's my duty to at least try to help.  I know it most likely won't help, but I have to try.

Demons do not exist.  Now, some people refer to bad habits and addictions as demons, and if you're dealing with that, I feel you.  But an individual, sentient, malicious, invisible entity who hates humans - nope.  They don't exist.  My Mother thought my rainbow-colored stuffed toy snake was likely to get possessed by a demon when I was 7, and she threw it in the fire.  You're step by step with her on rationality right now. Demons, Angels, Souls and Gods don't exist either.  I will, of course, amend that statement when one shows up and proves me wrong.

We most definitely are not in need of any sort of "help" from you.  We don't need assertions about your imaginary friend that you can't even prove exists.  We are adults who have studied extensively and chosen what we believe.  (Well, except for the lucky ones who were raised non-religious.)  To assume that we need your guidance on anything is disrespectful and insulting.  And to accuse us of dishonesty is childish.

We don't choose our beliefs.  They come from our parents, our communities, and our upbringing.  If you had been born in Reykjavik, you would be an atheist.  If you had been born in Calcutta, you would probably be a Hindu.  I had the hideous misfortune to be born into a Fundamentalist Christian family.  (Think Westboro Baptist.)  It took a lot of therapy, a lot of comparative religion studies, and some lovely science classes, but here I am.

If I were to follow your example, I would give you an impassioned plea for rationality and show you how the chains that bind your mind can be broken. You can be free!  But what you believe is your business, MK, I think you are probably good at heart.  But preachers are narcissistic asshole breathing piles of shit who only want to tell other people what to think and get paid to spout lies. Have you been surprised that people find preaching offensive?  Tip: that will NEVER change.

Believe me; take a cold shower, and while under the water rotate around yourself and say: "yahoo yahoo yahoo..." for 70 times.
The demon will get dizzy and throw up. That's your chance: immediately catch him; and use the confusion, beware because demons can read your thoughts. So he might see this shower coming.

Watch this:

But in case you believed this for real; if your family/ community described a sickness you have to be a demonic possession, please seek real help MK.
In the Middle East -and I assume you are from there-, families do tell their sons this crap and sell these lies to them. But you seem normal to me, and your beliefs are not strange at all; I've seen worse in here, from people so right in the mind.

Demons don't take control of people. Or else; God is not fair. Just remember that. All demonic possession cases turn out to be cases of mental illness eventually.

Unless you are full of shit, and using excuses every time you get confronted and losing in a debate; one time you're a deist, the other time you forgot your meds, the time after you're possessed.....is the demon a Shiite ? when did he convert?

Answering that will convince you to either check your mental health or invent another excuse.

This scene is one wicked production; I swear it gives me goosebumps everytime

Schizophrenia is real. Mystic, I think, is very unlikely to improve his mindset unless he gets help. And at this point, this seems very unlikely to occur.

We have to sit by while the guy gets more and more incoherent and eventually does harm to himself or somebody he cares about, or possibly given his religious background even worse. The sadness of a smart and nice person going through this is in itself proof enough to me that Omni-3 God cannot be real.

The qualitative measure needs a qualitative measurer we have a reckoner who maintains who we are, and makes us inherit our deeds, and is the judge and seeing one and witness by which are deeds take form, and it takes form with respect to his reality, and the relationship with the eternal reality.

Re-read this thread, I supported the thesis, and with reflection, this is easy to realize.

Mystic, that first sentence makes literally zero sense. I have absolutely no idea what you're trying to say. It reads like a Depak Chopra grab bag of buzzwords and woo.
