Be sure to barbecue kittens, record your professional sports team without their permission, and rip the tags off of your mattress. (I replaced "NFL" with "professional sports team" since you are a Brit.")

Oh and I am so glad I wasn't around during Jefferson's time. If he had come up to me and said "Hey Brian, we are thinking of breaking it off with England. Wanna help?" I would have asked, "Does that require getting shot at?" He'd say "Well yea." I'd respond "What's wrong with the British?"
