OK, we'll treat you as if you're a legitimate American citizen even if you're from Titan.  

You don't vote but you have friends, neighbors, and relatives who are on Social Security and Medicare, maybe the ACA.  The Repubs want to eliminate those programs, and like to disparage them as "entitlements".  Why are you willing to stand by and let the Repubs steal the resources that the people you know depend on in their daily lives?  Do you hate your family members that much?

Consider the bastard Repub Governor of Michigan who engaged in environmental terrorism and murder against the people of Flint by deliberately poisoning their water supply.  Your failure to get involved in the political process will result in more Repub environmental terrorism across the country because they hate people and refuse to maintain the national infrastructure that enables us to be a First World country.  They will gladly drag us back to the Fifth Century BC.  

Your failure to vote allows fascists to gain control of the criminal justice system so that they can impose a rigid police state 10 times worse than we had during the Jim Crow era.  

So in the end you are just a worthless tree stump.  One day you will end up drinking poisoned water brought to you by a Repub environmental terrorist, all because you didn't want to vote to protect your own self-interest in having a First World country.  Enjoy the decline.

Yes and no. Ideally, every American who is eligible to vote would be politically informed and participate in our process. But that's near impossible. In the end I'd rather have only well-informed voters than everybody vote despite having no clue what they're doing. If it's true that Kitan pays "as little attention to politics as possible" then I'm fine with him abstaining.

You realize that voting could help change that, right? The attitude that "my vote won't change anything" is the reason your vote won't change anything. Too many people think this way. Who knows, maybe if every citizen who said "Fuck this country my vote doesn't matter!" actually voted things would be a lot different. It starts from the ground up, you know. Local elections are more important than the Presidential election in terms of what will affect you more. Yet there are counties with local election turnout as low as 10 percent, sometimes even lower. It's a shame.
