Nate Diaz submits Conor McGregor

I have never seen someone handle defeat as good as Connor. Jose Aldo didn't even show up to his post press conference. Props to Connor, not bad for someone that's just in his 20s.

"Holly is always working on her wrestling and jiu-jitsu ... A scarier version of Holly is coming real soon ..."
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YXXFE5nVR8o It will be interesting to see how much her grappling can grow.
I wish I could give a shit about Ronda.
The first fight in that Connor Diaz main event was two chicks. Damn, I've never seen two women fight so good, it was even impressive than some of the men's division fights that followed. Ronda don't fight like that, she isn't even no longer in the best pound for pound women's list any more, plus she handled her last defeat like a baby. RE: Nate Diaz submits Conor McGregor

Rumours of a rematch in UFC 200....
Meanwhile, in case you were wondering if Nate still has a brain capable of being rattled, here is the only (?) time he has been knocked out: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X-fKQrWpcW0 A rematch will be fun to watch, but still hard for Conor to overcome Nate's reach advantage and land good shots capable of rattling Nate. Nate will be favourite this time. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D6AF1c4ZXg8
A rematch would make no sense. Mc Gregor will surely get his ass wooped seeing how the last fight went.
The only way I see Mc Gregor winning is him throwing head kicks like wonder boy Thompson to compensate for his reach disadvantage.
And what about the Cormier vs Jon Jones fight?

At first I thought the same, a rematch will just go the same way. But Conor is no fool, and likely will come in with a better strategy. Nate is a one-trick pony and will fight the same way every time. I don't think Conor has the energy to throw all those kicks like Thomson. And if you're not quick enough with those kicks, Nate can shoot for a takedown. But he probably could try the same feet movement as Thomson i.e. keep moving, and not stay stationary, and keep out of Nate's straight-line hitting zone, and jump in for attacks, and jump out again. Like to Holly did to Ronda, although Holly had the reach advantage in that case. Conor has the quicker hands. So if he can get in with a flurry, and get the hell out, and keep moving in between attacks, and keep doing that all night, he has a better chance. But I still reckon Conor will eventually get tired and again become a sitting duck in Nate's hitting zone. Conor is a sprinter, he has to learn to pace himself against bigger and tougher opponents. I hope they repeat the fight, the first one was a ding-dong battle.
I totally agree that Connor is a sprinter.
The only way I see him winning a rematch is throwing more head kicks, jumping in to attack at the right time and not firing punches like a maniac. His mantra should be to conserve his energy. Diaz is a triathloner. He should focus more of his kicks, that's the main point,to overcome his reach disadvantage. Connor shouldn't attack. He should make Diaz come to him. That way Diaz will be throwing the majority of the punches tiring himself out. BTW I figured out why Diaz survived Connors attack avalanche. Just look at his head movement when getting hit in the head, he moves his head in the direction of the force of Connors punches. This way the effect of Connors cross are minimized. Connor on the other hand, cocky as he is doesn't do it, actually he moves his head against the direction of punch of Diaz's punches, that being the reason why he got bobbled with that punch of Diaz.
Conor's coach is saying some sensible things (although I believe he didn't want Conor to do the rematch):
