I don't know if any of the results, but I googled:

"Free forum hosting"

and got things like

http://www.zetaboards.com/
https://www.phpbb.com/hosting/



These sites would save you from having to really do any programming of your own, and you can probably have a working forum in a couple of minutes.

Yeah, but they suck. I have a lot of experience with Zetaboards.

Free things normally come at a cost, at best, forced ads, at worst totally unreliable or unbearable service. I used to use a lot of those services and ha terrible experience. If you really want to just try things out, I think it'd be better to sign up for a one month trial at aws or some such service.
