Second, there's no need to knock on virgins or to say most people will generally prefer a non virgin over a virgin. People are more than their virginity or lack thereof. You're only a virgin until the first time you have sex. If you get in a relationship with someone who losses their virginity to you, this doesn't mean they're going to suck in bed every time until their second boyfriend or something. I lost my virginity to my husband at 24 years old, and I can assure you I do NOT "lie there like a plank of wood."

How would you possibly know? Nobody thinks they suck in bed or their spouse sucks in bed. Like anything else, you need a large sample size to actually know anything. Simply saying 'oh I can assure you' means nothing.

He has a high threshold for evidence, Cath-y.  You'll probably have to sleep with him if you mean to make your point.

True. They might just lie there like a plank AND refuse to suck.

I married the first time at age 34. Sharon had two sons and I met them before I met her. I saw them standing on the sidewalk watching me clean my Harley. We got to talking and, of course, they begged me for a ride. I said they would have to get their parent's permission before I'd let them on my bike. They ran off and I thought that was that, but they came back with a very pretty lady in tow. She demanded the first ride "to make sure it was safe". Yeah, sure.  Big Grin

But I do know I put effort and passion into it and that I try my best to make it great for my partner... and that definitely does not involve lying there like a plank of wood. The notion that people who have only had sex with one person just lie there or automatically suck, is silly.

Vacuum cleaners automatically suck... Tongue

I don't think the problem is in the number of sexual partners. What tends to make people, who allow their religion to dictate the terms of their sexual life, "bad" at sex is bringing an archaic, misogynistic and repressive rule-book to bed. Because you're NOT REALLY pleasing your partner to the best of your ability, if you're also trying to please Jesus at the same time. And no - it doesn't count as a threesome...

Very few people can be on their top sexual game, when god is watching - and most of those are priests...

Haha. Well if that's what you mean by sucking, let's just say the downstairs doesn't stay hairless for no reason.
"Of course, everyone will claim they respect someone who tries to speak the truth, but in reality, this is a rare quality. Most respect those who speak truths they agree with, and their respect for the speaking only extends as far as their realm of personal agreement. It is less common, almost to the point of becoming a saintly virtue, that someone truly respects and loves the truth seeker, even when their conclusions differ wildly."

That's really sweet.

My older sister is my half sister. My mom got pregnant with her drug dealing, abusive boyfriend when she was only 19. That was back in the days when my mom was a hippy and before she was devout and serious about her faith. She cleaned up her life after having my sister and met my dad, at which time my sister was 4. Two years later, they had me. I'm really thankful my dad stepped up to the plate to be a father to her, and didn't pass up my mother, who is one of the kindest most gentle souls I know, just because she already had a daughter.

Haha, she's a little too religious for me. Also too married and pregnant for me.
