They got Joey from Friends. And he's so much better than Chris Evans.
But the new show is not good. It's only the first episode, though. I'll give it some more time for them to find their groove.
The magic of Top Gear with Hammond, Clarkson, and May is that they did a good(ish) job of hiding the production. Sure, at times it seemed staged, and most of the time it probably was. The new iteration looks entirely produced. Everything set up, everything 'perfect.'
I think they ruined my favorite show.
On the bright side, Hammond, May, and Clarkson have finally named their show. It will come this fall on Amazon Prime. It is called 'The Grand Tour.' The boys are together with their producer Andy Wilman and have 4.5mil pounds and episode and carte blanche to do whatever they want.
Clarkson can punch all the American PAs he wants. Jeff Bezos will pay them off.
