Since Paul, people have taken it upon themselves to define love in some profound way. Yet, there is still no consensus. The best anyone can do is take what works and leave the rest alone.

I find that people who have some profound, ineffable definition for love often tend to be the worse for annoying people with their unassailable actions.
The god who allows children to be raped out of respect for the free will choice of the rapist, but punishes gay men for engaging in mutually consensual sex couldn't possibly be responsible for an intelligently designed universe.

I think the definition of love is partly beyond words.

If it's thought that part of love is biological processes then it may be thought that proves what I said.
