Montreal priests no longer allowed to be alone with children

The Roman Catholic Archbishop of Montreal, Christian Lépine, has ordered that beginning sometime this year, priests and other pastoral workers in Montreal parishes will no longer be permitted to spend time alone with children.
The decree comes in the wake of continued allegations of sexual and psychological abuse of children within the Catholic Church, with church officials, including Pope Francis, having called for a more responsive and comprehensive effort to prevent such abuses.

Still if you have to prevent your priests from being alone with children to stop them from raping kids, there's probably something systematically wrong with the way your church/religion is set up.

I note that seemingly obvious remedy to the pedo-priest disaster only took
1500 fucking years for the bastards to implement !!

It does seem reasonable but, even more reasonable would be to do what Disney did in Florida. Put up more warning signs.
"WARNING: Parents, exposing your kids to our priests is dangerous! It may result in stretched assholes. Stay Out of the Holy Water."
Make all the fuckers wear that as a sandwich board.

Yeah 1500 years of child molestation. I remember reading an autobiography of 18th century philosopher, Jean-Jacques Rousseau, titled “Confessions” how when he was briefly a student in a Jesuit’s college was about to be raped by a pedophile priest, who ejaculated in his presence. The young and Rousseau at the age of 15 had no experience with sex and was totally surprised, almost appalled as he believed that the Jesuit priest was very ill, which was essentially true. He then went to the prior of the convent to confess this incident and to ask for advise. The prior, according to Rousseau, had simply recommended him to submit next time to the sexual desires of this Jesuit monk, as this is quite normal in their convent. Then the prior had added: “ Only the first time it is painful”. Of course the young Rousseau declined this pedophile treatment by his Jesuit teachers and priests and left the convent school.
