Nonsense. I have several times specifically said that I respect the forum's desire and indeed requirement to stay inside the law, and nowhere in that post you quoted did I advocate for showing female breasts.

I personally am not interested in censoring posts of the sort that don't create that sort of liability.

BTW, you misunderstood what I was trying to say. I suppose I explained it poorly. I *never* implied you were advocating for allowing female nipples - that was simply one of the remedies that were possible.

If adhering to those conventions, beyond the control of the owner or staff, which allow this forum to exist as it is, is sexist.....then everything is fucking sexist and there's no point in even having the word.   Might as well call it "blue".

Just curious, I read the forum rules about nudity but was wondering if there is discrimination between male nudity and female nudity here as in many other forums. The rules clearly state no nudity and do not differentiate between male nudity and female nudity BUT often you see forums that allow nude male breasts and not nude female breasts.

So, are the rules identical for male and female alike or is there sexist discrimination in your rules?

I guess I could link a transcript, but, I described what the transcript contains.  Google it yourself.  She seems to be saying that she was an asshole at first and then mellowed.  Some people think that her comments imply that she;s still an asshole but has learned when to be one...and yet others still....think that no one gives a fuck about which of these two is more accurate.  Guess which camp I belong to?

Maybe one day you'll come to the understanding that we're all assholes. If being less an asshole hurts you, that's your own horse.

Of course she has an ax to grind. And of course you're being criticized by her -- and I happen to think she's got a fair point. I'm not sure why either point is below-the-belt; you're listening here, I think, but surely you can't expect everything you hear to be praise.

Well, when you wrote "The liability comes from some busybody suing or prosecuting because their little Johnny saw some boobs here." you insinuated that I was ignorant of such liability -- a point I put paid to pages ago (in a post supporting the Staff's legal obligation). There is no liability coming from requiring males to abide by the same doctrine as females, anyway; and given that I never advocated for allowing female nipples to be permitted (and thus put the forum into potential liability), mentioning that in a reply to me demanded address, lest readers assume the insinuation was true.

It's not Thump. If you would listen we have told you time and time again that we seriously discussed it. It was considered. There's a difference between us ignoring her point and us not agreeing with her point.

I don't understand why you're pushing this so hard either. I feel like I'm living in the fucking twilight zone today.

Banning male nipples is perpetuating the same sexual discrimination that banning female nipples is.

Do you think if gay marriage was illegal we should have made all marriage illegal to make it fair? No.

Do you think if black people weren't allowed to vote we should make voting illegal to make it fair? No.

Do you think if an innocent person was convicted of a crime, we should convict all innocent people of crimes to make it fair? No.

Where's your solidarity? Why are not asking to be sent to prison until all innocent prisoners are released?

It's a ridiculous notion. We want equality for good things. We want to fight for equal rights, not equal discrimination.
