Although supposedly that is the place that he has set up 99.9999999% of people to go to including all 'unbelievers'. It's part of his subjugation. Supposedly (in other words it would be if he existed, supposedly).

It a good point and a very real problem for Christians theology. Suffering normally focuses on the life we have (the only one in our view). But it would seem that all loving god would want people to suffer forever in hell for minor transgressions like reasonable unbelief. It seems you can rape young boys but believe and repent and go to heaven, but try to live a decent life and not believe and go to hell. This seems a quite dictinct argument for athiesm as opposed to suffering.

Actually Evf the Bible teaches there is a place in heaven for unbelievers. And the Bible clearly states your soul will be destroyed in hell.. so while hell itself is everlasting.. the suffering of a soul in it would still be finite due to it's destruction. Think of tossing a voodoo doll into a bonfire that lasts forever.

For this to get off the starting blocks you would have to:

- prove a soul.
- then reconcile how you can have a finite, infinte soul

In your analogy a voodoo doll would at some point be destroyed in the bonfire as the former is finite and the latter eternal. This would mean we escape eternal punishment, is that what you intended to assert?

Or didn't you know that?

The scriptures are for anyone who wants to take them seriously, they belong to no certain people, God gave them to the world. If you read them you might understand things like this.

The Jews wrote this bullshit for themselves. There was no god. No jesus. Just Jews looking to establish their own little niche in an area of the world which didn't give a fuck about them. They didn't know or care about your silly godboy. Wake the fuck up already. You are getting tiresome .

I've only begun!!!!!!
God loves those who believe and those who do not and the same goes for me, you have no choice in this matter. That puts the matter of total free will to rest.

Well this thread is bound to get derailed so I'm not going to even bother with proving a soul, here at this point, if I haven't tried already in some other thread.

Yes though, I do lean more towards annihilationism and assert that (assuming an eternal soul exists)when something says that it is destroyed it ceases to be (whether in a lake of fire or some other method), including a soul.

Asking your question to theists, Captain, won't get you any correct answers.

I thought Jesus mentions hell fire in the Bible, and some people having to go there.

RE: Where is Jesus?
EvF- Jesus talks in Matthew 5 about going to hell and what will get you there. Then in Matthew 10:28 Jesus says specifically to not be afraid of the things of this world but be afraid of the one who can destroy both body and soul in hell.

@Irh9- The bigotry and arrogance of some of the baseless generalizations I've heard from some (luckily few) atheists on here disgusts me. So you know absolute truth better than anyone I see? then prove that Jesus doesn't exist please. Otherwise stfu because your argusmens hold no weight and come off as the rambling of an arrogant rube.
