A family member had an NDE during medical treatment and was quite convinced he had been to the 'other side' but his description included quite a few items that were in his hospital room; overhead light fixture, artwork on the wall, IV stand, family members, etc.
I was underwhelmed.
The granting of a pardon is an imputation of guilt, and the acceptance a confession of it.

well . . .
Under extreme stress during the AIDS crisis back in the 80s, I had a couple of experiences I know were from the stress and the emotional toll of the experience, but I could understand someone unaware of what stress can do to someone might have regarded what I experienced as 'real'.
Someone who had passed that I had never met, but I was terribly impressed with from the accounts of his approach to end stage HIV I had read about was 'present' in my car one day and reassured me he was fine now, and then just before 'Russell' passed, I 'saw' angels outside his hospital window.
Strangely to me, nothing 'spooky' has ever happened in regards to Brian . . .
A friend of mine who lost his partner repeatedly 'heard' him in their house months after he had died. Familiar patterns in our memories can be evoked by some random stimulus and we have an 'experience'.
I'm not troubled by these experiences, I know full and well aan impartial observer at either of mine would have seen/experienced nothing spectral or otherworldly. Considering my newness to 12 Steppers at the time, looking back, seems I did as well as I might have hoped . . .

Would someone please get Edgar out of my head!
Being told you're delusional does not necessarily mean you're mental.
