I have been keeping an eye on the above website every few weeks, and the recent trend has been an annual 4 ppm increase.  Given that rate (which appears to be increasing), it will only take another 40 to 50 years to hit the 550 ppm mark, which many climatologists say will result in an irreversible, perhaps fatal, climate change.
