Develop an iron skin, and learn to anticipate an attack for -anything-.....anything at all, you might say on these boards. Even if it never comes, it's good to consider your positions and opinions this way anyway.

Everything is chemicals, everything decays, these decay at a faster rate so they would become less effective and bad over time.
Their half life's are very short.

DDT is -not- used in agricultural production (and hasn't been used in any meaningful way..in this country....since the 70's). More broadly, there's been a push against other similar chemicals (such as malathion), what we in the biz call "step killers" - it kills the bug, and the bird that eats the bug, and the cat that eats the bird, and the dog that eats the cat, and maybe the man who orders the "orange chicken" at the chinese buffet which is made from dog.
So rest easy, there isn't any DDT in your food.
