So he thinks a mass shooting was orchestrated by the government in order to take away his second amendment rights by galvanizing people against guns, and in response...he's going to commit a mass shooting.

Cut the vote crap here guys. This is about one industry protecting profits. This has nothing to do with second chances. This has to do with simply another industry doing the same protectionism as big tobacco trying to prevent regulations. The same bullshit obstruction that kept led in gas long after scientist said it was causing harm. Same greed that is preventing the world from accepting climate change.

When gun nuts claim it isn't about guns, it is, but in the context that people worship them to the point they want to ignore all the harm their protectionism does.
