Wife: Have you got anything without genes?

Waitress: Well, there's gene egg sausage and genes, that's not got much genes in it.

Personally, I've about had it with cage free this, and open range that, organic, cruelty-free this that and the other thing. You know what waiter, bring me something with *extra* cruelty. Flog that lobster with a cat-o-nine-tails before tossing it in the pot, would you?

On a similar note, I recently made a huge production, while waiting for our order, of shuffling the condiments, napkin holder, silverware, etc round on the table, peering at other tables and so on, until the waitress came back and asked, 'Can I get you something, sir?' and I said, 'Yes, I can't seem to find the gluten shaker.'

Got me shins kicked for that one, I did.

I'm sorry sir, we exclusively serve our own organic cruelty-free eggs in this restaurant. But for 5$ extra, I can kick the chicken after you place the order. Would that be ok for you?

And there are no federal standards for what can be labeled "organic", IIRC. I currently give my cats "organic" catnip, because that's the cheapest stuff they have. Cats like it, they don't know they're being snobs.
