Xers depress and are depressed

Xers depress and are depressed
Cripes, I am hiding in room again. One more month and I should have my own place. Till then, please forgive rants about the xers that keep dropping by.

Today they are reading the Bible loudly and it's making me sooooo angry and depressed. I am a powerless little nothing, so I can't make them shut up.

"You can't control what people do but you can control how they make you feel." Well, that is not going so well. They just hammer away like brainwashing. If I am in room too long, they inquire.

It makes me realize how incredibly surrounded we all are, still, with religion. I live in a city that is HUGELY multicultural. Rarely do I go down the street and hear less than 3 different languages. And each culture, curiously, has their own religion. So I am out of Xism, but right down the road there are other cultures practicing religion every day. In fact, one church poisons the air with furious bell ringing whenever they feel like it. LOUD!!!!!!!!

There is no escape. And they are all acting on their religion. It's one thing to just have it but another to act on it. Telling people AIDS is better than condoms or calling for harming others........that is just too damn scary.

I am now turning up music on Ipod.

Taking suggestions on what songs help to get rid of anger.

So far, Disturbed is nice . Devil

Seems to absorb some of it.

Disturbed's first CD for sure. Godsmack's first couple of albums are good for that, too. But nothing beats Pantera for getting the aggression out. *nods knowingly*

Stravinsky's Rite of Spring.

The Velvet Underground's White Light/White Heat album.

Metal, death metal, black metal, lots of it. Sputnikmusic has good reviews, so you can resist the crappy-kiddy -core bands. Don't knock it until you try it Wink

or Immolation "Father You're Not a Father" is a good song, and the album it belongs too is amazing imo.
Skwisgaar Skwigelf: ....I love to laugh. Hi.
Grandmother: Hi.
Skwisgaar Skwigelf: Guess what? You are a GMILF. That is a grandmother I'd like to fuck
