And don't tell me that a vote for a third party candidate is not a wasted vote. While I wish we had more powerful minor parties, the simple truth is that we really only have a choice between Dems and Repubs (or just Dems if you ask me). Third parties are caught in a catch-22: Nobody wants to vote for third party candidates until they become a viable option, and third party candidates will never be a viable option until more people start voting for them. Yes, you can cast your vote for Gary Johnson or Jill Stein, but in the end it's not going to matter. If Jill Stein couldn't even get on the ballot in all 50 states, why does anyone think she's going to win the presidency? The only thing voting for a third party candidate does is say "I reject the two major parties."
Given the importance of that message, I think it means that third-party votes are not in fact meaningless.
The Catch-22 you describe can be broken. But it requires voters to abandon this notion that picking a candidate is like picking a pony at the track. The only reward we seem to get from either major party is a good, stiff screwing.

I actually think it's funny that anyone thinks that Trump is worse than Clinton. But that's my biased opinion as an outsider. In one respect they are each as bad as the other, but I think the pars that delineates them clearly are these:
- Hillary is more willing to lie outright about her true intentions/policies than Trump is.
- Hillary is already a corrupt politician. When Obama ran against Hillary in 2008 he said that she was too corrupt to be president.
- She's a more polished politician - she knows how to speak in public to spin stuff her way, Trump doesn't.

- You're saying that a woman running for the most advanced political office in our country is good at politics---and this is a bad thing? Also, your claim that Trump doesn't know how to spin things is laughable, and shows you have no fucking clue what you're talking about.

They're both guilty of fraud and corruption. The sexual allegations against Trump are troubling, if they are true. But some of them - such as simply soliciting sex - have nothing to do with being a "predator".
I said nothing about gender. I said Hillary is corrupt, and I stopped at that. In terms of international relations, I fear Hillary far more than Trump. Hillary would want to re-impose trade sanctions against Cuba for example, and that is totally unforgivable. The trade embargo against Cuba was a far worse international crime than sexual harassment of individuals - if you want to compare to Trump. Not only that, but she's a war criminal, and like George W, Bill, and especially Obama, she should face prosecution for war crimes. ISIL was created as a direct result of US activities in the Middle East - including the the direct armament of terrorists, and the illegal wars carried out in Afghanistan, Iraq, and the other military activity in Pakistan, Syria and other countries that has directly led to this world crisis, and has prevented the countries in the Middle East from prospering. Trump wants to curtail the military, and although that may be highly unrealistic, if it was to be done it would be far greater than the harm of all of his other policies, which only inflict harm upon yanks, not Arabs.

You clearly haven't listened to any of Trumps rallies or policy proposals, and you are clearly so biased by your anti-American worldview to have a reasonable conversation about any of this.
If you think Trump has any intention of curtailing America's military, you are so deluded as to be laughable. Literally every stump speech he gives is railing against how our military is decimated and we "don't win" around the world. His plans call for direct intervention in Syria with American military personnel. He claims over and over that we should have never left Iraq in the first place.
Trump is on tape bragging about how he can get away with grabbing women's genitalia and can grope and kiss women without their permission because his is rich and powerful. He is on tape talking about how he'll be dating a 10 year old girl in 10 years. He is on tape bragging how he can go into the dressing room at the Miss Teen USA pageants to do "inspections" because he owns the contest. He freely admitted to these actions, and now denies them. So no wonder women are showing up saying he did what he said that he did.
You very clearly have no idea what these people's actual policies are, or what they have actually done or plan to do. I don't know what your source is, but it seems to be about as reliable as Breitbart.

Correct, and that is absolutely nothing compared to the crimes the USA committed against Cuba. Even if he was a child molester to rival Jimmy Savile, that is still nothing in comparison to that crime. Let alone the fuelling of civil wars in the Middle East by continually arming terrorists, and destabilising sovereign states.

Right let me re-state what I said earlier. They're each as bad as each other. The whole problem with the US system is that it allows people to vote in the leader of political parties - something that is much better done by the party room after they are democratically elected.
As far as middle-America is concerned both candidates are terrible. Absolutely terrible, and Trump will be far, far worse for them than Clinton. As far as international relations go, Clinton is far worse.

No, she objectively won't. She is a proven diplomat. Trump has threatened on multiple occasions to renege on international treaties and trade deals. He has promised to re-intervene in the Middle East. He has no ability to compromise, and if you think America tries to be a bully on the international stage now, Trump has promised to make America the biggest bully of all time. Internationally, economists are predicting a fallout just by the fact that he got elected.
