What is the first song or piece of music you can remember hearing on the radio (or)?

I was born in 89 and I know I must have heard songs on the radio before this but the first one I remember singing along to is Billy Ray Cyrus' Achy Breaky Heart. I remember because in part of it he says oooooohhh really drawn out and I remember doing that too and my parents cracking up laughing. Apparently three year old me was a little off key. lol

Edit- Video, the oooohhhh is first at 1:15 lol

Are you intentionally trying to hurt my brain?

Will have to do spray and, well, you know.

Running Bear
Battle of New Orleans
Sixteen Tons
This Land is Your Land
Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy
Home on the Range

Can you guess our one stations format?

I'm sure I heard churchy but thankfully have blocked it out.
I don't have an anger problem, I have an idiot problem.

Really, Whateverist!?! I'm kinda pissed at you because you made me think of the Bay City Rollers and Barry Manalow...both of which I could happily have lived the rest of my life without thinking of again.

MUST...purge...brain...play...Radiohead...

I remember all of those.  Let me help you embarrass yourself more.

For whatever reason that one reminds me of this one from around the same time.

I understand.  Barry Manalow could have taken any of our listening cherries if we were born at the wrong time.  That must be so humiliating.  Let me help you with that.  Maybe it was Homer's favorite?

But hey, it isn't your fault.  I'm sure you're just trying to make me feel better.  Thanks.

I have all forgotten about him. Thankfully he's quiet since the late 70ies. At least the stations don't play him anymore. I think the last time I heard something from him was an anti smoking commercial in the early 80ies. He didn't sing, thankfully, just talk.

Now here's a song for the ages! I remember watching that on my old B&W Sony on Night Flight.
