BUGCODE USB DRIVER

I get this error code BUGCODE USB DRIVER.... and a blue screen error, after using my mouse for a while lately.

I have 3 USB ports. One of them doesn't work.

Two work and then I get this error and my computer crashes and it's annoying because it means I can't use my mouse.

I've tried Google and there are so many contradictory answers. So that doesn't help.

Provide the types of operating system you're using. It's also that one of your peripherals isn't working properly or contains corrupted electric components. Hard crashes quite often belong to the low level. Give more information of your machine, I might be able to offer some help.

It's a Compaq CQ58 running on Windows 10.

Looks like you might be getting contradictory answers because there are potentially multiple different problems.
Read through that, and try to find out exactly which type of Error you are getting.

Also if you upgraded to Win 10 from a previous OS on the same computer, and this is just a shot in the dark, one of your drivers may have gotten screwed up. I had to fix my Wifi driver after upgrading to Win 10. Along with fixing all of my path variable...getting rid of a bunch of bullshit ports...and a lot of other stuff.

Win 10 left a bit of a bitter taste in my mouth.

Ahhh wow that really could be it! My Wi Fi resets itself sometimes and I have upgraded to Win10 from a previous operating system. How do I update my Wi Fi driver?

Usually the system should provide the necessary drivers. Unless you have specific hardware installed. If you added something, you should look for the manufacturer providing updates.
