I just stumbled across this place and thought I would join up and say hello. I have been an atheist most of my life, and while I am not as passionate about the issue as some, I do enjoy interacting with people who are not liable to suddenly try to introduce me to their invisible friends.
This looks like an interesting forum and I look forward to learning a thing or two.

Being an atheist says nothing about your overall intelligence, it just means you don't believe in god. Atheists can be as bright as any scientist and as stupid as any creationist.
You never really know just how stupid someone is, until you've argued with them.
