I used to think he was innocent, then that list comes out, and now I'm convinced he probably did molest some children. Its hard to justify (IMO) that list of items with the fact he regularly had young children over to sleep, and the fact that there were a number of allegations during his life.

Oh gosh, I just  now saw this....  Undecided

Ah, that explains why you were still in doubt.

Right, let's take this a whole step further. In 1969 Denmark became the first, and only country, to legalise all forms of pornography. Companies like ColorClimax produced traditional porn, others produced child pornography - legally. Denmark realised their mistake and banned child pornography production effective 1/1/1980. However by that time it is estimated that at least 10-20% of Danes (IIRC) had viewed child porn at some time in the 1970's.

You wouldn't claim that everyone who accessed the said material was a child predator would you?

The material mentioned in the link is not child pornography. It is true that it can be used to groom children, I'm not disputing that, but there's actually nothing wrong with Michael simply enjoying reading the magazines that have unclothed children in it. It's not illegal, it's not morally wrong. It's not a sexualised content. In fact, the content could just as easily be used as evidence against child molestation: where are the child abuse images that MJ would have had if he was a predator? It's hard to argue that MJ wouldn't have child abuse images if he was a predator, given that the vast majority of people who are convicted of child sex offences are found to possess child abuse images as well.

You're referencing only a piece of the evidence.

Was he, though? How do we know for sure, that he wasn't wearing "blackface" for the first 20 years of his career? I mean - that was before PC-ness and SJWs ruined minstrel shows for all of us... Tongue

WHAT are you talking about????

THIS is the REAL Michael Jackson:

Well if it's true that he abused children, and it's looking like it is, then that's horrible and I feel very sorry for the victims and their families. But I can't help but still feel bad for Michael for the unfortunate life he had since childhood. It's just depressing all around.

Most respect those who speak truths they agree with, and their respect for the speaking only extends as far as their realm of personal agreement. It is less common, almost to the point of becoming a saintly virtue, that someone truly respects and loves the truth seeker, even when their conclusions differ wildly."

Question though, did any of the kids actually accuse Michael of "grooming" them for sex with any of the items that were found?

Well most of the items listed refer to stuff that contains nudity. So what? Even I have textbooks which show naked kids - here (I've censored the picture):

[Image: androgen-insensitivity-syndrome-scanned-censored.jpg]

I put the uncensored version on (removed). I originally posted it here and Tiberius felt the need to delete it under the draconian rules on nudity. It seems to be a part of the American culture that for whatever fears and stigmatises nudity, even when it's used in totally non-sexualised ways as it is above in a physiology textbook.

Anyway back to MJ's list - so he owned this book that is now out of print but you can buy used on Amazon for US$220? It's certainly evidence he had a fascination with children, but it's not evidence of sexual abuse. And like the image I posted above, anything within that book is probably perfectly suitable for children to see as well. I'm not saying that MJ was innocent, just that the literature cited  is not at all disturbing. If he had a trove of 1970's Danish child porn, or for that matter any child pornography, then that would be a different matter.

Well, I guess the literature isn't disturbing to you, Aractus, but most people find it exceedingly suspicious, at the very least. What you're talking about having is a medical textbook. That is hardly what is listed among MJ's belongings. You cite one book, when there were many books listed, as well as minor pornography on his laptop. You're being selective, not to mention a little gross.
