Trump’s pick for White House counsel once represented Tom DeLay

Well, even the sleaziest criminal deserves a lawyer but this clown's crimes go much further than that.

Still, McGahn's role in defending then-House Majority Leader Tom DeLay, R-Texas, in the early 2000s makes the pick a controversial one. Moreover, McGahn's roughly five years on the Federal Election Commission marked a period when campaign finance laws were loosened, allowing almost limitless donations from business.

"Donald Trump has never said whether he is for or against campaign finance laws," said Craig Holman, government affairs lobbyist for Public Citizen, an advocacy group pushing for more transparency in government. "The fact that Donald Trump is relying on Donald McGahn ensures we are not going to see any kind of (new) campaign finance regulations coming out of Washington."

Trump Picks El Chapo to Run D.E.A.

Trump’s HHS pick belongs to fringe group of anti-vax ‘Tea Party’ doctors who believe Obama hypnotized voters

The man who President-elect Donald Trump has named as his pick for Secretary of Health and Human Services is a right-wing true believer with a track record of virulent antigay and anti-women’s rights views.
According to MSNBC’s Steve Benen, Rep. Tom Price (R-GA) is about as toxic a choice as the former reality TV star could name to the post, which was announced on Tuesday.
“I’ve been following Price’s career for years, and it’s hard to overstate just how conservative he is on, well, practically everything,” Benen wrote. “The Georgia congressman, for example, is virulently anti-gay; during the BP oil spill, Price sided with the oil giant; and in 2011, he helped create Congress’ Tea Party Caucus. (A year later, Price seemed confused about the meaning of the word ‘compromise.’)”

Did anyone actually expect different?  Trump is picking toadies and boot lickers, and letting Pence pick all the swampy, crony, hard right creationists and anti-science people he wants in exchange. This is why I fought so hard against the "equally bad" narrative.  

This will eff up our country (and possibly others while we are at it).  Healthcare, education, the environment, the economy, civil rights, world affairs; there isn't a SINGLE area where I can take refuse that he'l make things better, not one.  And all his supporters just keep doubling down at each nomination, cheering and waving as he prepares to pick their pockets, destroy their jobs, defund their kids schools, and rape the planet.

Trump’s cabinet pick foreclosed on 90-year-old over 27 cents

A bank established by President-elect Donald Trump's choice for Treasury secretary, Steve Mnuchin, once tried to foreclose on a 90-year-old Florida woman over a $0.27 payment mistake, reported Politico Thursday. Critics in the story allege that OneWest, founded by Mnuchin and partners, took advantage of the 2008 housing collapse by buying out risky loans from mortgage lender IndyMac and, in turn, getting help from Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) to cover the costs.

OneWest has been widely criticized for its aggressive foreclosure tactics, and Politico surfaced an especially troubling example from two years ago that involved 90-year-old Ossie Lofton in Lakeland, Florida.

Draining a swap?  Sounds as if the Orange Turd is filling the cesspool.
