Phil Plait (Bad Astronomy) Has a kick-ass rebuttal to this that just demolished their arguments with the steam roller or reason:

Ah, Catholic Apologetics, they'd be funny if they weren't being serious.

I can't wait for their next bestseller "Child Molestation... WHAT'S THAT?"

Let's remember the Pope's attempt at covering up the molestation scandal.
Just read this, entertainingly stupid.

Wow! Only 50 dollars a head and a complimentary lunch! You can't beat that for a bunch of stupid misinformation based on even dumber informers. Judging by the diverse sects of Christianity and the many Americans who believe in that shit with all their hearts I would have to agree that America has to be the nation with the most ignorant masses ever to populate this Earth! I am American myself so imagine the shame I feel to be living among the brain dead lol.

I wonder how they explain the rest of the universe.

Afterall if the earth is the centre pivot the rest of the universe must be travelling at many times the speed of light.
How's this for stupid......

Especially the opening lines.....

This site is devoted to the historical relationship between the Bible and astronomy. It assumes that whenever the two are at variance, it is always astronomy—that is, our "reading" of the "Book of Nature," not our reading of the Holy Bible—that is wrong. History bears consistent witness to the truth of that stance.
