I kinda got lucky with the height. My dad's side of the family is a giant German catholic clan, while my mom's side is a bunch of tiny englishmen. I got almost all my dad's genes, while my brother got my mom's side. Neither of my english uncles are above 5'9, while I have three cousins and an uncle on my dad's side who are over 6'8''.
