Prostitution.

RE: Prostitution.
Yes, Legalize, regulate, tax.

It's happening anyway. It's never been able to be stopped. It being illegal just puts money and power in the hands of organised criminals.

The same logic goes for drug laws as well in my eyes.

I live in Holland, prostitution has been legal here for decades. It is legal to operate a brothel, and it is also legal to work independently. Holland does have regulation and taxation on the profits made. Amsterdam is probably most famous for its red light district and the legal status of cannabis.

I go to Amsterdam fairly regularly. Never took part in what the red light district has to offer, but it's a great experience to walk around it, especially whilst taking part in the other thing Amsterdam is famous for Tongue

Amsterdam and Holland in general has a great liberal attitude and the rest of the world could learn a hell of alot from their drug and prostitution laws.

How is allowing a complete stranger to enter your body no different then standing there while people take your picture or throwing a football?

It is up to people what they want to do with their own bodies. So in that sense there is no difference.

Legalize it, everything like drugs and prostitution only causes bad things to happen because they're illegal. I wouldn't buy a prostitute but go ahead, legalize.

I think it's more of a rental agreement than a purchase. I think you have to put a deposit down as well Tongue

There is a lot more to playing football than throwing one. You can suffer traumatic brain injuries from playing that sport. How is that less dangerous than having a stranger 'enter' you? Besides, it's none of our business what other people do to their bodies, like Skipper said.

Some models have pictures of them having sex with complete strangers and that's legal. No different at all, unless you count the fact that they are having sex on film so that complete strangers can masturbate to it. I suppose that's "worse," by some standards.

I don't really have anything to add, but I think it being legal would be much better. I wouldn't go to one or become one.
