How are the Cops like where you live?

I'm looking at a few YouTube videos of cops being absolute trash assholes.
Does it even make sense to call them assholes? Because they're basically just pussies acting tough behind the guise of a uniform.
The cops around here aren't any better either. A cop once threatened me with jail time just for sitting on a fucking bench minding my own damn business. He looked like the kind of guy that wouldn't even look me straight in the eye if it weren't for his uniform.
I saw this video on YouTube about a woman calling the cops to help her out after an accident and they just basically grab her breasts and feel her up as an excuse to search her. At least it's not allowed for male cops to touch women as an excuse to search them where I live and even if they did they'll get a proper beating from the public(as they should). If they need to search a woman they need to call in a lady cop to do it. I've also seen cops bullying fucking kids. Who the fuck does that? They're fucking kids, leave them the fuck alone, fucking cowards.
Although the cops are assholes everywhere I don't think they have as much power over the public here where I live when compared to like the kind of power American cops have over the public. America is an absolute shit hole in this regard and by the looks of it the American cops are quite racist as well.
Don't get me wrong, there are nice cops too. The nice kind of cops are usually the ones that are the actual dangerous ones. The kind of ass of a cop are the one's that are actual pussies without the uniform that they get such a boner from all the power rush. What a fucking joke of a coward acting a hero.

The cops around here are really nice, for the most part. They're part of our communities, coach kids' sports, hand out flashlights at Halloween, fund raise for families who've faced tragedy, and yeah, hand out a few tickets, arrest a few junkies (we have surprisingly many for a small, quiet town) and maybe get physical now and then. I like them. I know some cities/towns don't have the same experience. This is just ours.

We have 21 officers for 10k people. They're a largely nonexistent presence. Chiefly, they're employed in springing speed traps on out of towners. Like most civil servants, they're pleasant people off the job, lol. They'll get shit faced and smoke a bowl with you friday night....then fine you for possession on saturday morning.
We don;t get the power trippers out here. It wouldn't be a friendly environment for them. There's always a gun in the truck, and we're an open carry state with a deep tradition of clannish non-cooperation. They come from here...so they know the score.

Back on Long Island I hated the police for the most part, especially as a teen. They tried to fuck up our lives for the most trivial stuff, especially very low quantities of drugs (read: pot). They showed us absolutely no respect, and most kids my age didn't see a reason to respect them either.
In the smaller upstate NY town that I spend majority of my time in now, they're not as bad. They'll pull you over for doing 30 in a 25 though.

Do you know how much the chances of a person dying goes down between 30 and 20mph?
If someone is hit by a car at 40 mph they are 90% likely to be killed.
If someone is hit by a car at 30 mph they are 50% likely to be killed.
If someone is hit by a car at 20 mph they are 10% likely to be killed.
If it is posted as 25 but you go 30 you are putting someone's life in danger. The reason it's posted that low is because they take into consideration how many pedestrians are usually around and how safely someone can drive. Heaven forbid they might have researched it a bit before throwing up a random number.

I've had contact with the police a few times most of the time they're really good.
Just once a police officer shouted "hey come here" and I was thinking who the fuck are you talking to, but then he saw I was about to go into my house and my dad was there and for some reason he dropped his interest in me. Apparently they were after someone for a stabbing.
Any of my friends who were arrested or punished by the police in some way were always being aggressive, annoying and basically acting like idiots.
Are you ready for the fire? We are firemen. WE ARE FIREMEN! The heat doesn’t bother us. We live in the heat. We train in the heat. It tells us that we’re ready, we’re at home, we’re where we’re supposed to be. Flames don’t intimidate us. What do we do? We control the flame. We control them. We move the flames where we want to. And then we extinguish them.
Impersonation is treason.

"putting their lives on the line"
hahaha give me fucking break.
drivers put their lives on the line too and road accidents are much MUCH more likely to happen. fucking icecream truck drivers are more courageous than your precious cops. let that sink in.
"ungrateful little shits"
oh for god's sake they're just doing their fuckin job. like everybody else in the whole fucking world. and not even a good one for that matter. you're naive if you think they're doing you some sort of sacrificial service

The University of Youtube is not a good place to get information. Like some people here the Tubers have no requirement to be accurate or rational.
As for our local cops, my neighbor uses way too many habeneros in his chili.

Speedtrapping is speedtrapping, of all of the things we could defend that cops get up to, this one....? Honestly, I don't think that it;s a big deal, I understand their need to produce revenue, and that speed limits exist for a reason...but there's no sense in blowing it up to some heroic cops saving lives routine. They're writing tickets.
