Is this really what some christians believe? Witchcraft in politics?

With the exception of the extreme immorality, Trump is your typical nominal Christian who doesn't pray, go to Church, worship or follow rules too often. These goofballs are making him out to be some sort of priest- king!

They still had SOME standards during the Reagan era.
Nancy was very cautious about rubbing Christian noses in the detritus of Ronald's first failed marriage, even going so far as to trying her damnedest to unperson Michael and Maureen. She was also aghast at John McCain's divorce and the galling circumstances surrounding it.
Hell, divorce and remarriage are sacraments now. Just in a few decades during my life major pieces of established Christian conduct have been INVERTED. I could imagine an eternal and unchanging God as being thunderstruck at the craven capitulation and eagerness to exchange Eternal Salvation for trivial contemporary political frivolities..
