Why aren't the Indians more grateful?

RE: Why aren't the Indians more grateful?
Quote: Indian Chief "Two Eagles" was asked by a white U.S. government official, 'You have observed the white man for 90 years. You've seen his progress, and the damage he's done."
The Chief nodded in agreement.
The official continued, "Considering all these events, in your opinion where did the white man go wrong?"
The Chief stared at the government official then replied, "When white man find land, Indians runnning it, no taxes, no debt, plenty buffalo, plenty beaver, clean water, women did all the work, Medicine man free. Indian man spend all day hunting and fishing; all night having sex."
Then the Chief leaned back and smiled, "Only white man dumb enough to think he could improve a system like that."

Was this all possible without white men, without European settlers?

What were the Indians doing for years? Just hunting animals and pretty much doing nothing and never progressing. Thousands of years and not one city built.

Even though they got roughed up a little (Thats what you get for not doing a better job defending your land) they received unimaginable benefits. They could vote in elections... read books.

I just get so sick and tired of all this white guilt stuff. Why isn't there a white history month or some acknowledgement that the white race has done so much for the world?

Lol, I guess you've never heard of Tenochtitlan, or the Incas? I guess you didn't know that they were genocided, not just losing their land, but their way of life, in many ways their culture, and their history? (Your thread here attests to this last fact.) Calling that "roughed up" is intentional, I suspect, to mask the genocide that actually occurred, because such a genocide as theirs (90% of all Indian population by 1800 or so) is a deafening argument against your paltry martyrdom.

I'm sure pretty buildings and books made them feel so much better.

Hey OP, the chief wants your belongings as payback for what your forefathers did!
What's that? You want me to tell him to go and get stuffed? How rude and inconsiderate!

Responses in this thread are like expecting payment from Donald Trump after you did work for him... it's just futile.
"There remain four irreducible objections to religious faith: that it wholly misrepresents the origins of man and the cosmos, that because of this original error it manages to combine the maximum servility with the maximum of solipsism, that it is both the result and the cause of dangerous sexual repression, and that it is ultimately grounded on wish-thinking." ~Christopher Hitchens, god is not Great

Oh, I don't expect a cogent reply from him. I just want to make sure that there's a response on record.
