I can't enjoy that. Even more so since I read the comments of religious wingnuts on IMDB after it came out. They were all excited and that's a disaster waiting to happen.

I was going to say the same thing, he was a douchebag in that movie. Yet it's still a great film.

That film wouldn't have been so good had he not played such a douchebag, and played it so well.

The greatest understatement of a line I ever heard in a movie: "That's Wyatt's brother Chet. He's kind of an asshole."
Only two things are infinite, the universe and human stupidity, and I'm not sure about the former.

Meh, we all enjoy different things.

History Channel's miniseries, "Hatfields & McCoys." He played Randall McCoy in that one. I thought both Costner and Paxton did a good job with their roles

Just read that Bill Paxton died of a stroke following heart surgery.

The first movie I remember Bill Paxton in was 'Tales from the Crypt', where he plays this redneck who always has a block of butter to munch on.
I really liked him in 'Frailty'.
I think it was a brilliant movie.
It wasn't a religious movie, it was a psychological horror and the final twist was that it was all real after all.
Anyway, sad news.

I woke up with a mega hangover yesterday and to make it worse my phone was buzzing with news of Bill's death. It's almost like every time I drink a celebrity I like dies. It keeps happening. God is clearly trying to make my hangovers both physically and emotionally brutal.

I liked Frailty okay, too. The ending, I thought, was Serlingesque.
