UFC 209: Woodley vs Thompson 2

I'm putting my money on Woodley. Although you can't count Thompson out, he is a very smart fighter and it will be interesting how he will modify his octagon game in the rematch. Woodley will get BTFO if he gets cocky and chase after Thompson without caution. If Woodley does everything he did the first fight: Be cautious, conserve energy, strike accurately then he can easily win this rematch; Question is - What will Thompson do? I wonder.

In my opinion Woodley smashed Thompson and won their last fight.  Fucking annoying that he didn't get the decision.

I love Thompson's fighting style, he's like a real life tekken fighter.  But Woodley seemed to just be a powerhouse.

There didn't seem to be much outrage about the decision which surprised me.  I don't remember Joe Rogan saying much about it.

I don't really care who wins but I'm still annoyed about the last decision, I hope if Woodley beats Thompsons face in again he gets the win he deserves.

Like I say I do love Thompsons fighting style, he could very well be a more skillful and more entertainin to watch, but I think Woodley just has powerhouse genetics so it doesn't matter what kind of backflips, kicks and spins Thompson can do.

Yeah. Woodley does hit like a train but I'm a huge fan of the fighting style of Thompson.
Woodley won this match but what a dull match. It was obvious the respect both fighters had for each other. Thompson and Woodley hesitated throughout the match. They were both waiting for the other person to make a mistake or open up their guard so that they could throw bombs but both of them hoping for the same thing essentially led to a sort of deadlock. The only actual fight was at the last 10 seconds of the 5th round where Woodley caught Thompson and smothered him, seeing how bad Woodley was giving it I thought it was going to be stopped but the heart of Thompson is nothing but admirable.

A dull fight but a deserving win nevertheless.

It would've been better if Jon Jones came running to the octagon during the middle of the fight. Climbed in. Knocked both of them out with one punch. Took the mic, then challenged D.C . to a fight. Then D.C. accepts. Comes running into the octagon. Then we had a real fight.

That does sound like my dream ^.^ Jon Jones, what an absolutely brilliant man. I saw his last fight, he was a bit hesitant but won the fight through decision. I can't weight to see Jon Jones take his belt back from DC. Who knows, maybe Anthony Johnson will catch DC with another bomb and that'll be the end of that.
