Dodge bull ?
The granting of a pardon is an imputation of guilt, and the acceptance a confession of it.

No dodging.

According to wall painting, The game seems to involve young boys and young girls facing charging bull wearing no protection other than loin cloth.  No weapons, no padding, no red capes to distract the bull.   At the critical time the contestant is to face the charge bull square on, gasp the bull by horns literally, and sumersault over the head and back of the bull and land on his or her feet behind the bull.

Modern bullfighters are absolute wusses by comparison to the minoans.

You git - you beat me to it!
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist.  This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair.  Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second.  That means there's a situation vacant.'

Yes, that's the one.

Thank you.  I was going to mention the bull jumping but couldn't remember if that was from a legit source or if I had read it in some fictional account somewhere.

Imagine how much more seriously students would take PE if that was the case in modern schools.

Adds a whole new meaning to "school bully".

Yeah, ok, Vorlie already took the best one.

Sort of a metaphor for what the WLB has done to the whole fucking country.

A real Minoan's honorable bullhorn wounds ought to be on the front, not up the back end.
