Has anyone tried any fitness supliments that worked for them?

I'm a fan of the Joe Rogan podcast but he seems to promote supplements that have no evidence of working, like certain mushrooms and alpha brain.

I was just browsing amazon because I have vouchers left over from Christmas but I can't help but think they're all a waste of money.

Are you ready for the fire? We are firemen. WE ARE FIREMEN! The heat doesn’t bother us. We live in the heat. We train in the heat. It tells us that we’re ready, we’re at home, we’re where we’re supposed to be. Flames don’t intimidate us. What do we do? We control the flame. We control them. We move the flames where we want to. And then we extinguish them.

Impersonation is treason.

I strength train when my health allows(which isn't as often these days) and Creatine seems to work for me. I probably did gain some water weight from it though.

You'll need to define fitness supplement better. What type fitness are you trying to supplement?

My supplements: Old fart multi vitamin complex (i.e. Centrum), vit D, omega 3/6, calcium.

I liked those vitimin supplements when I tried them, gave me a bit of a boost.

I basically just want a boost when I'm at the gym without having caffine.

For the alpha brain supplement google: alpha GPC nih. Plenty of articles on performance effects.

Fibercon and your Vorlon are doing VERY well together.

Also, I realize some recent studies are suggesting it's specious, but I think glucosamine chondroitin works for me.

And a day without Prilosec is no fun at all.

Aspirin too, lotsa aspirin . . . . Vitamin A

Meh...to hell with supplements (for the most part). What you usually wind up with is pricey PISS.

I think your mostly paying for placebo effect. There is really nothing that you can't get from just eating the right food, and your body will absorb that way better then it will in pill form.
