I tried to love my neighbor, biblically. After a few attempts, she got a restraining order.
My neighbor loved himself enough for the both of us every night for most of 2016. I know, because I could hear the "fap fap fap fap" through the wall and his groan at the end. He didn't need my lovin'. I'm sure.

Hi, neighbour!
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist. This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair. Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second. That means there's a situation vacant.'

Yeah, not to mention that it is expected for messiah to bring world world wide peace and yet Jesus distinctly says that he does not bring peace. I mean what a fake!! Here's that prophecy from Isaiah 2:4: "And he shall judge among the nations, and shall rebuke many people: and they shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruninghooks: nation shall not lift up sword against nation, neither shall they learn war any more."
Well he did bring sword all right he did manage to divide people into many Christian denominations who then took swords and other weapons against each other. I mean talk about the failure.
teachings of the Bible are so muddled and self-contradictory that it was possible for Christians to happily burn heretics alive for five long centuries. It was even possible for the most venerated patriarchs of the Church, like St. Augustine and St. Thomas Aquinas, to conclude that heretics should be tortured (Augustine) or killed outright (Aquinas). Martin Luther and John Calvin advocated the wholesale murder of heretics, apostates, Jews, and witches. - Sam Harris, "Letter To A Christian Nation"

The story of Jesus has caused many many people to be killed.
