Black Lives Matter

You're naming BLM as a vocal media apologist?

Conservatives get upset not just at violent protesters, but peaceful ones as well. So I say fuck em'. Fuck all the conservatives. Look at their reaction to Collin Kaepernick. It just pisses them off that someone would kneel for the National Anthem.

Sometimes violence is the only way to get people's attention. Maybe people should stop being shitty people, and then there wouldn't be violent protests. I'm not condoning the violence--but if you want it to stop, you have to actually fucking listen dipshits.

Not so much as media figures themselves but as the group that was given a wide and largely unchallenged reach by the MSM and the blessing of the Democratic party.. Voices from their movement and news contributors kept spreading telling everyone to 'understand' the rioting as a justifiable expression of anger in African-American communities. As it turned out, they were spreading lies and misinformation about current events. This is not an esoteric debate to me. I live on the South side of Chicago in a neighborhood that is 98% African-American, 2% Hispanic, and 1% white. Just in the last year there have been 3 shootings, resulting in 7 dead, within 2 blocks of my apartment building (one in the park where I walk my dog). All these crimes are fueled by gang violence. But all any one talked about was "hands up, don't shoot" and other things that never even happened - lies that activists still promote. Perhaps, I should be for more gun control, but the issues in my neighborhood are food deserts and row and row of shuttered businesses that keep it from being a vibrant and healthy place for locals to live and work. Neither of those have anything to do with guns or police violence but they do create a vacuum that gangs are happy to fill. So I don't need coastal intellectuals, lefty politicians and tenured professors giving cover to thugs that would see my white ass buying a Pecan Pie on 71st street as something symbolic to take their frustrations out on.

What you were actually saying was condoning violence. Basically, blaming the victims. "Stop being shitty and we won't riot" is the same as saying "Stop wearing short skirts and you won't get raped."

Yeah, sort of like the folks who started the Revolutionary War.

So you're saying that Black Lives don't matter.  How would your fucking jesus feel about that, huh?

Lets not keep playing this game guys. The issue is not black vs white, cop vs black, IT IS but because the GOP pits everyone against each other because the greedy gun industry loves their flooded market, so they use the NRA as their heat shield so that everyone loses focus on the real issue, or flooded market.

The issue is GUNS. The issue is that they are way to easy to get, legal at time of buy, does not mean getting stupid after, and most gun injuries/deaths happen involving the user and or someone the user knows. Ease of access, and lack of good vetting.

GOP wants whites and blacks and cops all pitted against each other. DONT let them make this a race issue.

Americans needs to make up for the difference between the virility they think they ought to show, and the sorry little vestigial organ, like an external appendix, that they have, with a tool designed to enable the unmanly to talk big.

I'll take "broad generalizations" for $500, Alex.

Dumbfuck.

Right wing conspiracy nuts will cry about big gov, when dems are in power, cry tyranny, but still say "we want law enforcement to have the best".

These same paranoid fucks run from their own words even when you agree with them.

RWNJ "Cops have dangerous jobs"

Sane, "We agree, so why should anyone want them having to fear everyone having a weapon when they pull them over?"

RWNJ, " YOU WANT TO BAN ALL FIREARMS"

Sane, " NO YOU FUCKING MORON, we simply think firearms are everywhere and that causes law to have to be trained to fear the worst, and that fear between cops and society creates that mistrust."

Liberals DONT want to create a 1 party oppressive government for simply saying we need to do a better job insuring where guns end up wont cause problems for either cops or society. I don't think we need to be making so many, no you don't need big clips or military style spray weapons. And no, you don't need to be playing cop in public.

If you want one for home security or hunting, fine. But unless you have a lagit need, like a job, and unless you have constant stress shooting training needed, then maybe you should consider leaving it at home or in the trunk of your vehicle when legally transporting.

NOW again, I defy anyone reading this post to show me ANYWHERE in this post I am calling for an all out ban on every firearm.

RWNJ "It's the mentally ill"

Sane, "We agree, so lets do something about that"

RWNJ "NO! Sell more!"

RWNJ, "It's the domestic abusers"

Sane, "We agree, so lets do something about it"

RWNJ, "NO! Sell more"

RWNJ, "It's the criminals"

Sane, "We agree, so lets have universal background checks."

RWNJ, "NO! Lets sell more."

RWNJ, "It's the terrorists"

Sane, "We agree, so lets do something about it."

RWNJ, "NO! Sell more".

RWNJ, " I don't want anyone using my firearm without my permission."

Sane, "We agree, so why not move to smart weapons so nobody can use them but the owner?"

RWNJ, "NO! Sell more!"

These idiots simply buying into the fear, and the firearm factories love the fear, and that fear, protected by the ASSHOLE NRA profit protection racket lobby, keeps profits up.

These idiots aren't interested in small government, they are not interested in the safety of law enforcement. And they most certainly are not interested in reducing gun injury or death.

Cops are human, so are conservatives, liberals, poor, middle rich, urban, suburban and rural.

No not always, but if all parties involved want a safer society, and everyone should, then we simply cannot keep doing things the way we have been. The ignorance of our flooded market is the same bullshit smokers rights lobby pulled. Same corporate scare tactic car companies and oil companies pulled dragging their feet when told they need to get lead out of gas, and cars needed seat belts.

The gun owner is not the problem to me, the evil marketing is knowing we have a problem.
