It seems that the western part of Antarctica ice sheets seem to be growing

On the other hand we still have the problem of global warming and in any case winter is coming....

What precisely would you expect Antarctic ice to be doing this time if year?

BTW, the ice is not what the first link in the OP is about.

I knew it would doing that i didn't know it was that much of a gain though.
