Profiling should be used as an inclusionary suspect investigation tool, not exclusionary, for the very exception reasons stated earlier.

Yeah, I intentionally said off the top of my head because I know they exist. It's just a proportionally smaller group. I didn't Google it because I was attempting to demonstrate that the more high profile cases tend to be white males as well.

I don't know. One site I found listed a couple dozen or so black serial killers (I didn't count them). Are they disproportionately white? Perhaps, but do the numbers justify drawing conclusion about a hypothetical serial killer's race? I think not.

It's not really relevant though because "most white males are most definitely not serial killers" is still true.

Even if there are more white male serial killers than any other group it's still the case that "most serial killers are not white males" is true.
Because "not a white male" is a very large category.

And that's true of any ethnic or racial demographic when it comes to crime: most of them are not serial killers, drug runners, arms dealers, etc.

Off the top of my head there's Moses sithole the dc sniper, and I know I've seen documentaries on a couple of other black serial killers but can't remember them by name.
The murder rates are so high in places like South America and Africa it would be strange if there were less serial killlers there.

The D.C. sniper was considered a spree killer, not a serial killer.
