About me
Hi! I am a 17-year-old atheist, vegetarian and libertarian. I'm interested in informatics and linguistics. I once used to be a Flat-Earther, but now I believe I have learned how to differentiate between science and pseudoscience. I've put the story about my former Flat-Earthism here:

Welcome matey...

I find it hilarious how you can be an atheist (I'm assuming by using logic and reason) but fall for the flat earth theory which can be demonstrably proven. Dunno

RE: About me
By studying pseudoscience before studying the actual science, I believe that's what played the most important role. I was bombarded with a bunch of claims which I didn't know how to evaluate. And even when I did know, I was too lazy to actually do that.

Intellectual honesty is the most important thing in the world imo.
Everything else hangs off this virtue.

Well done for seeing the light...(pardon the pun)

That is really interesting! I'm suse you can provide interesting perspectives on the psychology of that.

I used to believe in magical audio cables.

Welcome! At your age I was not a flat earther but an atheist who believed extraterrestrials helped build the Pyramids. Ditto on learning skepticism. Doubt is a great tool to have.
God thinks it's fun to confuse primates. Larsen's God!

Welcome.
Being told you're delusional does not necessarily mean you're mental.

RE: About me
Welcome new person!

As a youngster, you've been through quite a few big changes in ideology. It'll be interesting to hear your perspective!

Hope you stick around!
"There remain four irreducible objections to religious faith: that it wholly misrepresents the origins of man and the cosmos, that because of this original error it manages to combine the maximum servility with the maximum of solipsism, that it is both the result and the cause of dangerous sexual repression, and that it is ultimately grounded on wish-thinking." ~Christopher Hitchens, god is not Great
