The holy rollers typically do not feed or water the snakes, after a few weeks the snake is in such bad shape that it may not even inject venom when it bites. I would be willing to bet this ass hat picked up a snake that had just arrived by mistake, they did not have time to starve it into a stupor. I am very tolerant of other peoples beliefs, and I typically understand their motivations. I just cant get my head around this, it makes absolutely no sense. 
How is it different to be fronting a religion and maintaining it's scriptures are inerrant and every word, sentence, paragraph, chapter, and book are literally true (and contains the passages regarding swilling poison and molesting dangerous snakes) and, oh, let's say, just for example, texting your boyfriend and advising him to kill himself??
