My husband would love to join the forums, but because we are on the same IP, it will not let him. Is there a way around this or would we have to share accounts?

He could sign on through a proxy server like http://www.hidemyass.com.
Just paste the board url into the box ( they have google there now ) and click the HideMyAss button.
Are you sure that is okay though? I don't want to be IP banned from this site. D: But if it is fine, I will have my husband use the proxy server. I just want to be 200% sure on it before going through with it. xD

No, when we see double IP numbers we check it out first. We do look at these things on a case by case basis. Don't worry about it, we can see soon enough when someone is on the level or not. Double IP of people we know as trolls is a different matter of course.

Yeah, after this case came about, I disabled the automatic IP check done on new registrations, so people should be able to register multiple times with the same IP. We do have methods for detecting it though, and we've used it many times to find possible spammers.
