Arabs and oil

RE: Arabs and oil
One thing I don't understand, is after all we did to invade and occupy Iraq...why don't we have a monopoly on their oil?

We should, given our sacrifices.

RE: Arabs and oil
We already had a monopoly on oil services.  If we wanted the crude an invasion would have been a poor way to get it - we could already buy it on the cheap.   We didn't go to war in Iraq for oil or because 9/11.

It was a chance for neo-conservatives to consolidate their power, scratch their political allies backs, and profit from the war -itself-.
I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. I am the Queen of Battle. I am what my country expects me to be, the best trained Soldier in the world. In the race for victory, I am swift, determined, and courageous, armed with a fierce will to win. Never will I fail my country’s trust. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. I yield not to weakness, to hunger, to cowardice, to fatigue, to superior odds, For I am mentally tough, physically strong, and morally straight. I forsake not, my country, my mission, my comrades, my sacred duty. I am relentless. I am always there, now and forever. I AM THE INFANTRY! FOLLOW ME!

You should give monopoly on your house to the robber, given his sacrifice in cutting his knuckle while breaking into your house and beating you up.

Tell that to the Shiite and the Kurds.

From what I understand Kurdistan is a lovely area and Shiite Iraq, while poor and disorganized is no longer repressed as once it was

Just one of many things you don't understand.  And it seems, never will.

It's all just part of the experiment to see what happens when you let escaped mental patients assume positions of power.
Religions were invented to impress and dupe illiterate, superstitious stone-age peasants. So in this modern, enlightened age of information, what's your excuse? Or are you saying with all your advantages, you were still tricked as easily as those early humans?

---

There is no better way to convey the least amount of information in the greatest amount of words than to try explaining your religious views.
