Wow, your insight is amazing.

Why not?

This is true from my point of view, to a point. Everything you have ever learn't was written by somebody!

So, what is your game then?

I'd say Augustine of Hippo, with his concept of original sin, was the bigger arsehole.

Quote:Editors today take what has been written by the author and make it more acceptable to the audience they are going after.
I don't need to prove it, having been through every denomination of christianity for more then 60 years, seen the deceptions and lies and hypocrisy that the poor lambs live by, I finally asked myself where did this book come from that is so popular world over.
When I finally hooked up with Constantine creating the Roman Catholic Church and calling his, I repeat his, nicene bishops together, and then he has 50 books written and sent out, only a blind person could miss the obvious, especially since we have 1700 years of Roman Catholic Tyranny, that has been documented. Then we have all these new bibles from every Tom Dick and Harry, with their editing of their personal beliefs. Confusion and chaos is the way of creating illusion, and those who buy into it are trapped in their own delusional existense, afraid to make an honest move or have an honest thought, for fear they are going to get there butt kicked.

Do you have any reasoning in saying that Constantine is the God of the Bible?
Do you have any reasoning that says he isn't the god of the bible..image and likeness called for by the scriptures is pretty obvious, that he had two faces.... and that all the gods were created from some human beings thought concept, idea.

Highest grade entertainment, is to challange my thoughts and emotions, without the use of some said authority from who knows where, who thinks he is a sage or a master, or a wiseguy, and people put up on pedestals because they think that person sees better and thinks better then they could possibly express it so they let someone express it for them...and think because they can quote tom, dick or harry they are smart. Very naive. We find someone that agrees with us and we goose pimples and call it a spiritual awakening.....gimme a break.

It is nice to allow our nerves to be touched, it keeps us alive , with eyes wide open, vulnerable to anyone who is cute in nature..so that we can hear a little more we may have missed and rethink some things we express.
I am an authority on my own life, and experience...that is all I can truly know, yet in being freed up of the bull I have gathered in the years along the way i need to get it out in the open, express it and move on with life.
For instance you have shown me that I picked up on Constantine thru reading on the internet...something I certainly knew I had done. Yet said i pay no attention to authorities.
So why does Joe wind up here on the atheiest forum, where else can I find out what bull atheism and god is...except through we who think atheism is the next level of awareness to get by on this journey in life. In freeing myself of all which wants us to be like them, and my needing their security of narrowmindedness,to give me that push that assists me in pushing back so I can get it on. So I use it to assit me in getting on with life on my own terms.
Is athesim the end all, know all, of course not. We are just a group of dependent people, looking to secure our own personal ideas, and thoughts on living life, by expressing them to a faceless audience.
When i go to my Narcotics Anonymous meetings, I do the same thing to an audience that I see face to face. Just because our literature says certain things about addiction doesn't make what they express gospel...everything is always up for revision as to what we percieve as our own personal truth.
So thank you all for the push, I don't know how long I wil be here, but in the couple of days I have been here you all have been most helpful.
I bow to no one and as to who you bow to ,you are free to think and believe and bow to anything that turns you that way.

What I have found in the short time I have been here is that athesit are just as narrowminded as those who believe in god, and that atheism is just another role played to gather reinforcement for our own narrowmindedness with people who are just as narrowminded when we put on the mask of atheism. So it has been most helpful coming here, as to the next level of consciousness and awareness, that will give me that push to move on to freedom to truly be free of my own insecurities and narrowmindedness, it isn't important........philosophiesing is becoming boring and i look to a higher standard of entertainment, in revealing to myself what is truly, true for me , and allowing others to go on their own merry way without me nudging them with my own awareness. My interaction with people face to face daily is the only way to be vulnerable enough to keep on keepin on
So possibly I need to end this minor addiction and attraction to the atheist philosophy now, before it becomes a habit to live by.
Bob Dylan says it pretty well...the masters make the rules for the wisemen and the fools. Not looking for a following here just looking to let go of all the BS I had to get thru to arrive in the here and now.

No he wasn't. To kill demons they have to exist first.
