I'm not exactly sure how to start, but here goes. I'll start with my name. After a lifetime of being burdend with religion, recent decisions I have made have led me to this point. I a finally feel free enough to come out and say it, I am an athiest, and I have never felt so good! I'll post my complete story later in the right forum, bug for now...thank you for this forum.  I have looked gor some time fir a place I could talk to like minded individuals and not be looked down upon. I look forward to talking and getting to know you all. I am an open book!

Welcome! Good to have you aboard. This forum is indeed the right place for your "complete story", as you put it. Doesn't mean you can't also respond to other threads elsewhere.

I am almost literally in the middle of the country....south Central Kansas. My wife and I moved here when I graduated grad school in May and I got a job as a therapist.
