What would you do if you woke up one day to find you were the last person alive?

What would you do if you woke up one day to find that you were the last person alive? Everyone else had disappeared. No sign that they had died, no sign that they had even existed. All you had was memories and their possessions and food and water they left behind.
P.S. no animals either. Just you and the fruit, plants and mushrooms. What next?

Well, no animals means no snakes, at least. Oh, and no dog bombs. My neighborhood is the Paris of San Diego. Dudes don't pick up after their chihuahuas 'round here.
So, ummm, yeah. I guess I'd hang out at the local supermarket and so I could at least eat. For a while, anyway. But then, I'd probably die, because I don't live in an agricultural area.

Yeah, we've all fantasized about that.
what gets me is that, OK I'm alone...I can do whatever the fuck I want, right! And I want to go to America.
How the hell do I get there?
Which big boat do I pinch? Mega cruise liner? Supertanker? Navy frigate? Do I read the manual or just press buttons and pull levers -like in the movies?
Then if I run out of fuel half way there because I don't know what the fuck I'm doing, then my life is basically over.
Or do I go to the airport, jump in the cockpit of an airbus and start pulling levers? Nah, fuck that for a joke! I'll kill myself in 10 seconds.
Let's all put our heads together and get me to America!

You go by road to Darwin, take a boat from there to Asia. Drive across Asia up to Siberia, cross by boat into Alaska and drive from there.
Minimal time in a boat and you don't need a complicated boat.

Also, we do know that all power stations, nuclear power stations will stop working shortly afterwards if not meltdown!
